MBA Recommendation: All 3 and 4 year old's should play T-ball regardless of skill, attention level or prior baseball experience.

Practices: Practices will begin on or after March 31st. Teams will be scheduled to practice once or twice each week from March 31st through Baseball Opening Day.

Practice Times: Practices will be scheduled as early as 5:15 pm on Monday through Friday and on Saturday as early as 9am.

Baseball Opening Day has not been officially scheduled yet but likely will be April 26. All teams will play at least one game and pictures will be taken. 

Season Length (games): Baseball Opening Day through June 14th. 

Typical Game Schedule: We will make every effort to make sure that every team plays a minimum of 8 games (weather permitting).

Games Per Week: During the first part of the season, teams will have one practice and one game each week. (NOTE, If there are an odd number of teams, then each week one team may be asked play two games.) Toward the end of the season, most teams may have 2 games during week and may have a reduced number of practices.

Team Assignments: Players will be placed on teams without a formal player evaluation. The Commissioner will attempt to balance teams based on the age of the players and the known skill level of the players.

Player Requests:  If two players want to play with each other, both must submit the same request on the website during registration. Although we cannot guarantee any placement request, we will try to honor placement requests between 2 players so long as both request to play together and we can still maintain a proportional balance of ages and abilities on teams.  No requests to play for a certain coach are permitted.

Equipment Provided/Equipment Needed: The league provides hats, jerseys and practice/game balls. Players will want to purchase gray baseball pants, glove, batting helmet, USA Baseball approved bat, and cleats. Players may want to purchase a bat bag and chest protector.

If they don't hit the ball, then they will have the opportunity to hit the ball with soft toss/tee. The entire season is coach pitch. Games are 5 innings in length with a time limit of one and half hours.

Team Assignments: Players will be placed on teams without a formal player evaluation. The Commissioner will attempt to balance teams based on the age of the players and the known skill level of the players.

Team Announcements: You will receive notification of your child’s team placement on or before March 28th.

If they don't hit the ball or have 3 swinging strikes, the batter is out. The entire season is coach pitch. Games are 6 innings in length with a two hour time limit.

Description: We use a standard little league baseball in the Farm 8 league. On Opening Day, the games will be 6 innings of coach pitch. For every other game during the season, the games will be 4 innings of coach pitch and 2 innings of kid pitch. During the coach pitch portion of the game, batters will receive 7 pitches from the coach. If they don't hit the ball or have 3 swinging strikes, the batter is out. During the kid pitch portion of the game, the batters are out after three strikes but a coach will finish pitching an at bat after four balls. Games are 6 innings in length with a two hour time limit.

Team Assignments: There will be an attempt to place players on teams after a formal player evaluation at No Offseason Baseball. All registered players are requested to attend. At an in-person meeting with the Commissioner and Head Coach of each team, teams will be balanced based on the evaluated skill level of the players.

Age: Birthdate range is 5/1/12 to 4/30/14 

Price: $190 

Description: 6 inning game. Mars Baseball typically participates in the Bronco League other local associations like Brad-Mar-Pine Bronco.

Typical Game Schedule: 12-14 scheduled regular season games plus playoffs, depending on the number of teams in the league. We will make every effort to make sure that every team plays a minimum of 10 games during the regular season (weather permitting). 

Time of Games: Games will be played Monday through Thursday at 6pm or 8pm – typically 2 games per week. 

Practice Locations: Adams Township Park  

Game Locations: Home games are played at Veterans Field or Rotary and away games may be played in Wexford, Cranberry or Zelienople, depending on the opponent.  

Team Assignments: Players will be placed on teams with an effort to balance the teams and be competitive with the other communities. We do not take requests for this league.
